Anthony Hopkins didn't age too well, did he? If you must lampoon me in such a manner, at least give me the looks of a young Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. I'm probably more like him in that film than Norman Bates from Psycho anyway.

While I'm at it, I notice the responses to my posts in other threads. Is anyone still curious about my choice to not post my real name and thus not risk being identified with that guy no one likes online? I already knew people wouldn't like me. I knew I had a big mouth and was in a bad mood. Heck, I really shouldn't have answered such specific questions as what pub I worked at.

So when I am seen in the Mercury or the Black Light or whatever, I will have no idea what "Sea-goth" is. I will be that guy who doesn't say much. No one will have a chance to realize that they don't get where I'm coming from and don't care to know anyway. I will not seem any creepier than any other goth when I hang out in the corners of dimly lit establishments with a drink in my hand. This is a role I know well, to haunt a scene until I'm known vaguely by everyone but no one can actually remember meeting me. I won't allow myself to stand out, some people will become friends of mine before they realize I'm that angry rabble-rouser everyone dissed online. I am the hungry ghost.

Actually I haven't been to the Blacklight. Some months ago I happened to go out, and figured I'd drop by the Vogue. Lo and behold, the Vogue had closed. I was told the Vogue had moved up and around the corner from its original location and would be called the Blacklight now. It was getting late and I didn't check it out. I'd only been to the Vogue twice and had no opinion good or bad.

So you say it sucks? That might not actually be a bad thing for me. Guys who are better off than I am and can afford nicer clothes than I have will avoid the place. Meanwhile, women just getting into the scene may go to the Blacklight before they hear it's a dive. It's simple existence will generate some random traffic.
