Thank you very much for participating in this year's benefit! PLEASE GOTO www.Dancingonthevalentine.com for more info
If you don't already know, the proceeds for the evening will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society which is a cause that is near and dear to my heart as it is to many of yours. This has progressed over the last five years into an official Non-Profit Organization!
This year's Dancing on the Valentine concept is a tribute to Factory Records which means that ANYTHING put out by Factory Records or its subsidiaries (Factory Benelux, etc...) is available for play. So, New Order after 1993 is out. You can find an amazing amount of discography and information here: www.worldinmotion.net/factory.
It's being held, as always, on Valentine's Day (February 14th) and this year's venue is Chop Suey (Thanks, Pete!!!).
Let me start by announcing that Jim Anderson of Crocodile Cafe fame will be running the sound this evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A few of the phenomenal repeats for this year are backline by Gibson, Chrispy as EmCee, Dj Danger Nun, Ben Haley as Photographer, and my wonderful friends helping to collect prizes for the raffle.
