Yuku free message boards

Over the past several years I have seen a pattern repeat itself.

Board moves, I lurk and read posts for several months, ultimately I begin to feel far too voyeuristic so I make a delurk post. Within six months the board closes and the cycle begins anew. Does this mean that ultimately I may be sounding the death knell for this current incantation of Sea-Goth? I won't speculate but I wouldn't say it is completely out of the question.

So HI!!! How is everyone?

The missus and I are making an effort to make it out to the Merc more this year (and just out in general) so I look forward to meeting everyone, or at least dancing around with a few of you. Maybe you would prefer just to scowl at us (ready to attack) and that is fine too. I don't think she is going to make her own Yuku account, so I will just use 'we' alot in my posts and she can read over my shoulder.

We live in Bonney Lake, partially because of parental and job obligations and partially because it was where we could afford to buy a house. We also like hiking so it works out with the mountain and all. Of course, this also means when we do come to Seattle it is a hour drive - which is fine getting there but not so fun driving home at 4am. We have a dandy six year old named Liam who shares time between us and his father's house. We also have two german shepherds Anka and Panzer who keep us on our toes. In our spare time, if and when we have any, we enjoy road trips especially down the Oregon coast, anything firearms and learning to spin poi. (If anyone wants the name of an amazing yet affordable instructor who is based out of West Seattle let me know). We are reachable at hollowhills at hotmail if anyone has questions or wants to go hiking, shooting, kid/dog play, what not. Also on MySpace and Livejournal as hollowhills74 though not really much on blogging.
