Hey, Everyone.
I'm hoping the new year has found you well, and reasonably happy (or morose, as may be your preference). I am posting today to announce that Billy who works at the Sunset Tavern and myself are going to be starting the first Goth/Industrial night in Ballard @ the Sunset. It's being called 'Black Monday'. The first night will be March 23rd, and if we can drum up enough support, this will become a monthly event. We're trying to get ROMANCE and THE SKYS GONE OUT to come play for our opening night, but barring that, we will have a couple of local Goth or Industrial bands with DJ sets in between, featuring my over 200 record collection of Goth/Industrial music.
This is the real deal, folks.
Cover should be between 7 and 10 dollars, and we have been getting overwhelmingly positive feedback from everybody we've talked to about this, so PLEASE make an effort to crawl out of your caves, coffins and crypts to help us make this event a reality!
And to all of you who live north of the Ship Canal, this could be an event that you can come to that doesn't involve having to drive all the way to downtown or Capitol Hill. Just saying.
